This is one of my favorite songs from the album, written by my friends Wayd Battle and Jerrod Neimann, and as many of you know Jerrod wrote "Good Ride Cowboy" which was Garth Brooks's last #1 hit.
On July 11, 2006 99.5 WYCD, and sister station WYCD, THE WOLF (Detroit) featured new country music artist Lance Combs. His album is set for release on August 31st.
Based in Vancouver, Canada eldorado is a 5 piece band complete with female vox and a pedal steel guitar. Mixing good ol' fashioned country (think Patsy Cline dining with Johnny Cash) with Rockabilly (Definately Wanda Jackson having it out with the good ol' boys) and Nancy Sinatra singing with Blue Rodeo. The sound is unique and the songs original in today's alt-country world. Sad, sweet and sinister one minute, challenging and sassy the next. Keepin' it real, hell ya.
Easton Corbin You are up and running. Sorry about the delay. I was away with Mr. Webster... and there was tequila involved.
The blog is archaic in format, and published by a computer novice. Friends call me the cut/paste queen...foes call me the sockpuppet queen.

Corbin Easton’s earliest musical influences originated from hearing Merle Haggard, George Jones and Keith Whitley on the radio and watching TV shows like The Grand Ole Opry.
Easton started taking guitar lessons at age 15, from local hero, Pee Wee Melton, a former Nashville session player.
Melton’s guitar lessons included country music history lessons which fostered Easton's respect for the legends of county music.
The instrumentation includes one rippin' guitar, lap steel, upright bass, drums, and two harmonizing vocalists. The dynamic live performances make this crew one of the top must-see bands in the good ole U.S. of A.
Since the release of the debut album on 3rd Silo Records in the Winter of 2005 they have hit the road never to return until they have hit every honky tonk, dive bar, and club across the country.
Ansel Brown brings a breath of fresh air to the country scene. His engaging vocals blend sincerity and emotion into its purist form. Focusing on songs with a positive message, Ansel has tried to keep his song selections close to home. Both North and South Carolina have something to be proud of in Ansel Brown and the production of his debut project.
Starting with nothing but a couple acoustic guitars and some great friends she began her journey towards what is proving to be a great career in country music. Laurie toured much of central Illinois with Money Creek, a top 40's country band she formed in 1999 then she began playing with Kickback of Cowboys Concert Hall in Atlanta GA . Laurie opened for Lonestar and that is how she came to know her now producer and friend Dean Sams.

When you hear Rachel Williams sing, you know you are hearing a future star, she's got everything it takes and more. As a songwriter, I would love to hear her sing any of my songs. Sincerely, Wood Newton (I approve this message)
I’ve seen many talented people come through the hallowed gates of Nashville. Rachel Williams however, is one of those rare diamonds that appears once in a long while. Her gifts and talents as an artist and writer can’t be described on the page. She is a must see. Stewart Harris
The most soulful female vocalist since Wynonna. Rachel Williams possesses all the qualities of a major star in the making. Clint Higham, Exec. VP Morris Management Group Managing – Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich
I don’t remember the last time I saw someone at this point in their career that was as mature a performer and sure of their instrument as she wis. I take that back. I do. It was a little group called Alabama I saw in Myrtle Beach, SC, in 1980, just after they signed to RCA Records. She is as strong a talent, as confident of what she is saying and how she is saying it and has as much an appeal to the rank-and-file country fan as anyone I have ever seen. John Dotson, APA Artist Management
Rachel Williams is one of my favorite new singer/songwriters! She deserves to have a MAJOR deal so everyone can find out about this girl!! She ROCKS! Marcia Ramirez
We all know there are great singers all over this town. But, what impressed me about Rachel is her ability to pull it off on stage. When you can do both, you've got my vote. Cyndi Forman, Creative Director, Universal Music Publishing
Rachel is a dynamic performer who's voice captivates an audience. Her song-writing abilities and her approach to music far surpasses her years. On her current path she will no doubt become a huge success. The sky's the limit for Rachel Williams! Mike Loudermilk
Cleveland Country musicians, bands, fans, foes, friends and extended family agree...he was the best!
Cleveland country does NOT agree on much...except Frank Dunch and the LOVE of country music. We loved the sounds he made....he made Cleveland country...God love him!
He should have been nominated for this award on an individual basis when he was alive...somehow he was overlooked. He was an AWESOME guitarist in all genres (sic)...PERIOD! Guitar Center said so!
Thanks to my MySpace friends that casted a ballot to nominate Frank Dunch.
We did NOT win a nomination. I was wrong, we did NOT all agree.
BTW: I thought the registration process was cumbersome, and laborious. Ya had to REALLY want to cast a ballot to fill in all that information.
Frank should have been nominated. PERIOD! NOT because he was Dead, because every one said how AWESOME he was. Is everyone lying...was it an IDOL situation? I am perfectly comfortable with other guitarists being nominated.
Country Music in Cleveland is BIG money. Our preferred genre should have been represented, and Frank Dunch certainly was worthy to represent Cleveland Country...
We lost a master of the SOUND of country music in Cleveland when we lost Frank Dunch.
