THEE blog MARCHS on...
Readers and "hits" remain steady despite the lack of posting participation.

backpage.com has always been a source of entertainment and speculation.

Bickering about cover VS original bands, and whose genre is authentic. Bogus posts, and band members baiting each other.

Alrighty then...here is NEW one

So like...what happened to ACE's/Mentor website?
Missed it's evaporation into cyberspace hell.
Looks like just about everyone has adjusted their schedules...no Mentor on the Lake to be found.

Mr. Webster reported to me this morning that getting home was a lot more pleasant last night, than Friday night.

It could have been disastrous...given the snow belt's history of "winds aloft" over a pretty much OPEN lake.

Ya know where your band was last night. Skipped through the trades while soaking in the tub this morning.

I am pretty sure all the ACE's went ROCK last night, or even Latin.
Laredo is reporting ACE's/Brooklyn will be "Hall of Famers"....
Maybe...heard there was a former NFL player involved.

Mr. Webster is "in the studio"...with great musicians, talent and friends recording the "mom dances with her son song".
Maybe...I'll put it up on MySpace when it's done.

The second SUPER TUESDAY is coming...I'll be terribly distracted witnessing history being made.

It's gonna be a BLUE Year folks...and will be difficult NOT to gloat.

BTW: CLEAR CHANNEL...ya suck!

I actually owned this album...NOT so sure where it is NOW. I have moved 9 times since 1986.

Anyway...the point for one person is; I have loved country music for 30 years.

Second...I love the song, Guitars and Cadillacs. Mr. Webster knows why.

Thanks for sharing, Web. You are a class act. I can't figure out right now whose actions are more disrespectful - yours, or my husband's. Glad I could get reeled into your mission of spite and vengeance. From one band wife to another...I guess I expected more from you.
For what it's worth, Todd told me about this picture a long time ago. Granted, it looks worse than it sounded, but anyway...just wanted to thank you for the public ridicule. Did it ever occur to you that while trying to make my husband look like an ass, you would also make me look like a fool? Probably not.

Sometimes people say things without thinking about who it affects. Did it ever occur to you that band members have wives and children. Sometimes it is better to remain silent then to open your mouth without thinking about the way your words may affect others. Maybe its time to crawl back into your glass home and avoid the bucket of rocks next to your computer!

Thanks for the condolences - extend mine to Tim.

I know where you got the picture. I've been on myspace, too. The point is, YOU are the one drawing attention to and making an issue of it. You've never even met me - why do I deserve to be collateral damage in your vendetta against Todd, Ross, and everything Laredo?

Thank you, silent partner.

Okay...I just can't do it anymore...I am going to burst...BA HA HA HA HA.

Mindi, get over it. In this day and age if you are dumb enough to do ANYTHING and (the key word here is...voluntarily) pose for a picture, you damn well better be prepared to have it put on the net. CUZ EVERYONE IS DOING IT! Jump on the reality bus dear...and...

WHY bring more attention to yourself? I am willing to bet dollars to donuts that there are plenty of people that still log onto this blog and never even saw the picture, but now they are ALL looking!?!? I saw the picture weeks ago and didn't think much of it...now you are just fueling the fire by crying about it ON THE INTERNET. You better toughen up that skin of yours....WORSE things can happen.

(see Web...I can still agree with you :) )

I never disputed the fact that the picture shouldn't exist in the first place. My issue with Mrs Webster is with the exploitation. As you pointed out, without someone drawing attention to it, many would just dismiss it. Mrs Webster has been drawing attention to it since NEW YEARS EVE. It's been over two months, and I'm fed up. If not for me and the kids, this picture would not even be noteworthy. Maybe you don't have kids, nobeer...but you don't mess with the Mama Bear.
At least someone besides Mr and Mrs Webster are posting for the first time in weeks. And that, my friends, was the objective all along.

Don't care what Mindi thinks or says.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
She is correct...the image would be inconsequential if it weren't for the mama bear, her cubs, and papa bear pontificating how noble he is. Irony at it's best, if ya ask me.

The feedback is reality...hardly "heartless". Noble Cause had been up for days. Ya had to scroll down and "LOOK" for it.

Generally speaking, I think folks are more sympathetic when ya dish the blame where it belongs.
Nevertheless, the photo is back in the archives.

Whew...just finished the fifth load of laundry. Still catching up from when I dislocated my shoulder.

Glad I don't have to clean the house for my family. Easter dinner out, after our dessert social, at the senior center.

We will venture out tomorrow night...weather permitting.
It won't be Backwoods...
Fat Boy's is COMPLETELY out of the question.
It won't be the Curtis Brothers...
Red Dog Saloon, that's a road trip

GOD Speed to the Curtis Brothers tonight.
Red Dog is in the boonies...was just there last weekend.
From the wicked wicked west, it was bout 100 miles each way.

ME...love Rio, made a weekend getaway to see him.

Tony says things are going great, he's scoped out Nashville. Made some contacts and impressions with the folks that count...and recorded a new single there.

Might check out Hall of Famers, formerly known as ACE's/Brooklyn.

Ummm...my well placed source is NOT backing off the story about troubles with this location.

If they haven't addressed the bathrooms, then they deserve to go down the toilet.

I love it when I get there and I can hear him outside.

In the event, ya only have this thread saved to your "favorites"...there is a new "LEFT" thread.

Be warned...it is VERY political, and I am HYPER passionate.

If by chance, ya are NEW to the blog, ya should go back to the first "LEFT" thread that was started in 2006...it aint for everybody.

I started LEFT threads in an attempt to appease others and put an end to the onslaught of hate/melodramatic email.

My desire for social justice and enthusiasm for politics in general, takes a whopping chunk of my free time.

So much so...I have neglected my blogs, my MySpaces, and the dust under the furniture.

Add a musician husband, a home, a career, a wedding, and American Idol...it's wonder I get anything accomplished.

SOOO...it's true.

Ray was let go...he did NOT walk away.
Gotta ask why...at least I do?
The answer > TOO much testosterone being sprayed all over the place.

Ray contributed a great deal to Lawless, and by all accounts was a decent human being and musician.

I was ALWAYS, ALWAYS told Ray possessed great chops, an awesome voice, and most importantly..."the look".
